SPONSORSHIP OF KASHMIRI STUDENTS: AN INDIAN ARMY INITIATIVE

In 1947 partition of India, which led to the creation of India after acceptance of the British governor Lord Mount Beten. However, some of the states were an independence states like Hyderabad, Junagarh and Jammu and Kashmir. The then Home Minister Hon’ble Ironman Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel shown a great leadership and merged all the states in India except Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Pakistan chief leader Mohd Ali Jinna encourage extremists to infiltrate in Jammu and Kashmir with support with the Pakistan Army. Moreover, threatened the then Jammu and Kashmir King Hari Singh for merger in Pakistan territory. The King Hari Singh approached then Home Minister of India Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel for merger agreement in India and the same had accepted by the government as well as the then British governor.
But, till time extremists and Pakistan Army occupied some part of Kashmir. After the Merger agreement, India Army rushed in Jammu and Kashmir and push back the Pakistan Army and Pakistan extremists. Now, the Pakistan leadership was unable to continue the war in front of Indian Army and reached the United Nation for stoppage of War and the war declared concluded. But Jammu and Kashmir divided into two parts in India and Pakistan which was the conspiracy of British govt. Since, Pakistan was beaten by the Indian Army and unable to face again, hence, choose second option to disrupt the integration of Jammu Kashmir in terms of religious influence.
The Kashmir Valley, known for its scenic beauty and artistic uproariousness, has long seen a region that has witnessed political pressure and conflict. This situation has left its mark on the youth, who find themselves caught between political testament, uneasiness and the pledge of a better future. In the midst of the complex geography, the Indian army plays a pivotal part, not only in maintaining peace and security but also in fostering a deeper connection with the youth of Kashmir. Over the times, the Indian Army has laboriously involved in colourful enterprise aimed at bridging the gap between the forces and the youthful population in Kashmir.
Through outreach programme, educational support and community engagement, the Army is seeking to produce a positive trend where youthful Kashmiris feel empowered, supported and hopeful for brighter future. One of the crucial ways the Indian Army is connecting with the youth of Kashmir is through educational and skill development programme. The Army has established multiple avenues for youthful people to admit both formal education and vocational training. Programs like the “Army Goodwill Schools” and Sadbhavana are aimed at furnishing quality education in a region where access to coffers can occasionally be limited due to ongoing uneasiness. The Army also runs colourful skill development centres that concentrate on conducting practical chops similar as computer knowledge, carpentry, electrical work and more. The enterprise helps the youth gain a sense of independence a career prospects, furnishing them with the tools they need to contribute appreciatively to society.
The Indian Army has long honoured the power of sports and adventure conditioning in fostering fellowship, discipline and internal adaptability. In Kashmir, the Army organizes multitudinous sports events, adventure camps and out–of-door conditioning similar as trekking, mountaineering and cycling. To strengthen the more bonding, the Indian Army is being sponsored the Kashmiri students for Education outside of Jammu & Kashmir for diploma or graduation in any stream under op sadhbavana so that they can be connect with main stream of Indian integration. It has seemed to be the turning point for Kashmiri youth to escape from influence from religious extremists.
The relationship between the Indian Army and the youth of Kashmir is one of the collective respect, trust and trouble. By engaging in educational, sporting, philanthropic and artistic conditioning, the Army is making significant strides in changing comprehensions and creating openings for the youth in the region. As the Army continues to work alongside original communities, it offers a communication of stopgap, peace helping Kashmir’s youth realize their implicit and contribute appreciatively to the development of both the region and the nation.
